Pre-Chanukah Olive Oil Press Workshop
A unique and special Olive Oil Workshop!
This demonstration uses a rustic oil press and takes the children from selecting the olives to producing oil to light the Menorah, much like the Jews in the time of the Temple did.
The process allows the children to see and feel fresh olives, sort and press the olives, and finally produce oil. Plus, they’ll have the chance to decorate delicious donuts and make their own candles to light up the holiday!
